Can't live without...

There are some things in my life that I definitely cannot live without.
Of course, this post doesn't have all of them but here are some things that well, I can't live without.
My Macbook*, where would I be without it? pretty bored. ha!
My cell phone- HTC Eris.
Sunglasses, my favorite pair, from Target.
My Quench water bottle from Publix.
My ring and earrings!
The girl in the desktop background, she's a given, can't live without her.
Oh yea, that sweet wittle puppy behing the computer, can't live without him either!
*don't mind the fingerprints on the computer. ha!
My Grandmother's ring and my Tiffany & Co. twist knot earrings;
I don't know what I would do if I couldn't wear them ;)

weekend at a glance

Friday: picked up little roo from MamaCat's and Jimdaddy's

he got his valentine's day surprise
I had to contain his excitement for the toys by making him sit to take a picture.

Saturday: fished for red fish (the one i'm holding* is 24 inches)

*I was forced to hold the fish under the gills, I did not want to hold the fish at all

Sunday: visited my sweet mimi
We sat outside because the weather was so perfect. She really enjoyed it!

Hope your weekend was just as nice!

spend the night company

I had a friend, K, come spend the night with me!
She needed to be in Valdosta for the day,
so she traveled from North Georgia to stay the night!
I served a fantastic breakfast to her this morning-
sweet potato and zucchini frittata, deer sausage (which she had never had) and my fruit salad I made on Valentine's Day.

And look what she left for me! Sweet (literally)!
Okay, Okay- there were two cupcakes but I ate one before I took the picture!
And I must say, it was as good as it looks!
(strawberry cupcake with strawberry icing!)
With treats like this, I wouldn't mind having her around more often!

I know Roo will be sad to know that he missed seeing K, he loves her!
I hope you enjoy your Roo La La debut, K, I enjoyed having you!

Happy Heart Day!

Oh, what did I do on Valentine's Day?
Babysat a sweet, sleeping baby C.

After babysitting, I went to class.
At school, I told the janitor 'Happy Valentine's Day.'
He quickly told me that was my boyfriend's department.
I wish I had a picture of him.
A picture of the janitor I mean, not a boyfriend.
I also made a yummy fruit salad!
Blackberries, blueberries and strawberries!

Roo is at his MamaCat and JimDaddy's for a visit but I have a Valentine's Day surprise for him when he gets back.

I hope everyone is having a Happy Valentine's Day!

Surprise!

Don't you love'em?
I got a great surprise from my bff.
A "just because" present. Those are the most special to me.
A camera charm for my Greek mythology's first woman bracelet.
My bff said she squealed when she saw it.
And how perfect is it for me? Absolutely perfect.
This is the rest of my bracelet; an owl for wisdom, the bling bff charm, and the newest addition- the camera. Can you guess who has the other bling bff charm? eh hem.
I bet you can.

Rainy Saturday

I was sitting in my Saturday class this morning- Wait, did I just say Saturday class? Yes, I have a Saturday class, I don't know who thought that was a good idea but it wasn't. But I digress. - So, I was in class and thought how great of an idea would it be for me to cut roo's hair. Now, before you scroll down to see the final haircut, let's get something straight. I'm one of those people who sees something and can do it. Well, I can't do a cartwheel- but I can watch someone else do one. ha! What I mean is, I can look at clothes or a photograph or even a dog haircut and think I can replicate it. And so with Roo as a guinea pig, I did.

Here it is, Quincy Roo's transformation!
here's his start, on the dining room table.
please notice the mutt'n'chops and his furry, silky, luxurious  legs.
About half way through
notice his left leg hair is a little longer than his right, his back is shaved, and his mutt'n'chops are gone.
after his bath, man, was he rambunctious!
Another after bath shot, I had to get his tennis ball for him to pay attention to me.
Final product!
It's definitely not perfect, but I didn't expect it to be. I think roo is happy with it, I'm quite satisfied, too. Another plus is that I'll be able to cut his hair from now on for about the same price as one hair cut would have cost!

We hope you're having a great Saturday!
